Remote Controls Remote controls at either end of the staircase can be used to call or send the stair lift. Armrests Sturdy full-length armrests help to keep the rider securely in the chair, and will support the riders entire weight when getting in and out of the chair.

Seat belt

A seat belt is fitted as standard. Three different designs are available to suit different needs.

Swivel levers

Push-down levers on either side of the stair lift allow you to swivel the seat onto the top landing. The back of the chair then blocks the stairs behind you. A manual swivel seat is fitted as standard; a powered swivel option allows you to turn the chair from the remotes - especially helpful if you dont like to stand near the top of the stairs.

Safety Edges/foot rest

Nine sensitive safety edges immediately stop the stairlift if it meets an obstruction.

Footrest Lever

When youre not using your stairlift, the footrest can easily be folded away by using the convenient lever.

Keyswitch

For safety, a keyswitch is provided which can be used to lock the stairlift. Ideal if you have young children visiting!

Directional Controls

Mounted on either arm, the light-pressure buttons will operate the stairlift in the required direction of travel. A joystick option is also available.

Rail

The stair lift travels along a slim rail, which is custom-made to suit your staircase. The rail stands on legs; there is typically one every third step.
