Q. I have stairs that go up 3 steps then there is a landing and then go up 8 steps. Can we do a stairlift in this application?
A. Absolutely. There are a couple of different options available to you. Depending on your configuration we can easily get you from one floor to the other either by a curved track or two units.
Q. Are stairlifts safe?
A. Yes, Stairlifts have been around for a long time and have proven to be safe if qualified companies install them.
Q. Are stairlifts expensive? I have been told they start around $2,750.00.
A. This is true. We have units starting around $2750.00 for standard straight runs. Of coarse your stairway may be different so please call us for your free estimate.
Q. Are there tax advantages to buying a stairlifts?
A. Yes, is the short answer. You need to consult with your accountant on how the tax advantage may effect you, however, if you have a medical necessity and have a prescription from a licensed physician, the sales tax would be waived and also a percentage based on your annual income may be deducted.
